We respect and value the privacy of everyone who uses QEF2022.com and will only collect and use information in ways that are useful to you and in a manner consistent with your rights and Our obligations under the law. 2. SCOPE – WHAT DOES THIS POLICY COVER?

This Policy applies only to your use of QEF2022.com. It does not apply to Our public website. It does not extend to any websites that are linked to from QEF2022.com (whether We provide those links or whether they are shared by other users). We have no control over how your data is collected, stored or used by third party websites and We advise you to check the privacy policies of any such websites before providing any data to them.

3. WHAT DATA DO WE COLLECT?

Some data will be collected automatically by Us when you use QEF2022.com (for example, please see section 8 on Our use of Cookies).

4.3. When logged into QEF2022.com, even if you have selected to remain anonymous, your responses to session polls, surveys and Q&A submissions will be accessible to Our platform administrator who has full unrestricted access to all areas of the platform and its content.

4.4. If you have chosen a public profile, this profile and its responses are accessible by both Our platform administrator and other attendees of the event registered on QEF2022.com.

4.5. Where We propose using your personal data for uses other than those above we will ensure that we notify you first. You will also be given the opportunity to withhold or withdraw your consent for the use of your personal data for purposes other than those listed above.

5. HOW AND WHERE DO WE STORE YOUR DATA?

We delete all data (including personal data) processed using QEF2022.com as part of the event within 28 days of closing the site.

5.2. Your data will only be stored within the European Economic Area (“the EEA”).

5.3. Data security is of great importance to Us, and to protect your data We have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure data collected through QEF2022.com. We are ISO 9001 certified and take advantage of the security provided by hosting data with Amazon Web Services (more information can be found here).

6. DO WE SHARE YOUR DATA?

6.1. Clients. We share your personal data with the client whose event you are attending.

6.2. Other third parties. If requested by an event host, We may sometimes interact with third parties to facilitate the supply to you of services such as search engine services, or advertising and marketing services. In some cases, the third parties may require access to some or all of your data. Where any of your data is required for such a purpose, We will take all reasonable steps to ensure that your data will be handled safely, securely, and in accordance with your rights, Our obligations, and the obligations of the third party under the law.

6.3. Anonymisaton & aggregation. We may compile statistics about the use of QEF2022.com including data on traffic, usage patterns, user numbers, and other information. All such data will be anonymised and will not include any personally identifying information. We may from time to time share such data with the event host. Data will only be shared and used within the bounds of the law.

6.4. Legally binding requests. In certain circumstances We may be legally required to share certain data held by Us, which may include your personal data, for example, where We are involved in legal proceedings, where We are complying with the requirements of legislation, a court order, or a governmental authority. We do not require any further consent from you in order to share your data in such circumstances and will comply as required with any legally binding request that is made of Us.

The law gives you the right to request a copy of the personal data we hold about you. We first require you to prove your identity with 2 pieces of approved identification. We will supply, correct or delete personal data about you on our files. In addition, you may request rectification or erasure of personal data as well as the restriction of processing of your personal data.

If you wish to complain about the processing of your personal data then please contact Us first, but if We do not satisfactorily deal with your complaint, then you may contact the Information Commissioner in the UK, or your local supervisory authority.
